A home first, a stay second.
La Vida Villa is inside Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary, on a hillside about four kilometres from Kashid Beach. It is closer to luxury glamping than to a hotel: four suites and a private villa, each with its own plunge pool, on land the owners actually live on.
They have been on this land for more than eight years and based here full time for the last six, growing organic vegetables, fruit, mushrooms and microgreens, living largely off-grid and keeping a yogic routine. Guests get the same quiet, and the same food from the garden when it is in season.
Inside a sanctuary
Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary surrounds the property. The rooms look out at forest and mountain; the sea appears at the dining area, and from Amber Villa.
Grown here
Organic vegetables, fruit, mushrooms and microgreens come off the land. The house runs largely off-grid, which is less a feature than a habit built up over eight years here.
A yogic routine
Early mornings, simple food, long silences. Guests are welcome to join the rhythm or ignore it entirely.
