Your stay

What are the check-in and check-out times? Check in from 3 pm, check out by 11 am.

Are meals included? No. Meals are not included in the room price. We provide menus from cafés and restaurants nearby, and you can order from them during your stay. Amber Villa also has a full kitchen if you would rather cook.

Is there a sea view from the rooms? Not from the suites. The suite balconies look out at mountain and forest. The sea is visible from the dining area, and Amber Villa has a sea view.

Does every room have a plunge pool? Yes. Each of the four suites has its own plunge pool inside the room. Amber Villa has a private courtyard pool. The bath tub is in the Luxe Suite only.

What is in the room? In-room plunge pool, smart TV, high-speed internet, mini bar, tea and coffee maker, air conditioning and a private balcony.

Is breakfast available? Yes. Breakfast is not included in the room price, but it can be arranged at extra cost — tell us when you book. Other meals are ordered from the menus we provide on arrival.

Can I book a massage? Yes. Kerala ayurvedic holistic healing massages can be pre-booked at extra cost. Ask when you book so the therapist can be arranged for your dates.

What is aqua healing? A floating meditation in your own plunge pool — lights down, sound out, weight off. Sessions can be pre-booked, at extra cost.

Can I bring my pet? With prior approval only, and it depends on the animal. Ask us before you book rather than on arrival.

Is the property accessible? Not really, and we would rather say so. It is a hillside property inside a forest, with steps and uneven ground, and it is not a comfortable choice for elderly guests or anyone with limited mobility. The nearest hospital is not close; we have a doctor on call.

Can I stay for a week or a month and work from here? From November, yes. We are opening a work space for ten people looking over the pond and the sea, with high-speed internet. See the workation page.

Getting here

How far is Kashid Beach? 4 km, about a 10 minute drive.

How do I get here from Mumbai or Pune? Roughly three hours by road from either city. From Mandwa Jetty it is 40 km, about an hour's drive.

Where exactly is the property? Inside Phansad Wildlife Sanctuary, on a hillside near Kashid in Raigad district, Maharashtra.

How do I book? Pick your dates on any page and check availability, or message us on WhatsApp. Booking direct is the best rate.

Can I book Amber Villa by the room? No. Amber Villa is booked as a whole three-bedroom house, sleeping up to 12.

What about payment and cancellation? Message us for current payment and cancellation terms before you book.
